How to Use ClockNow

ClockNow is designed to work instantly with no sign-up. This guide shows everything it can do.

Check the exact time

Open the homepage. The big clock shows your local time, corrected against our server. Below it you will see how accurate your device clock is, for example “Your clock is 1.1 seconds behind”. If your device is off by more than a few seconds, turn on automatic time in your device settings.

Find the time in any city

Type a city or country into the search box between the clock and the controls, then pick a result. The clock switches to that city with its local weather and a sky that follows the real position of the sun. Press “My local time” to go back.

Tap the ☆ star to save a city. Saved cities stay at the top of the world clock grid on this device.

The live world clock grid

Under the clock, every city in the grid shows its live time. Tap a city to see it in the big clock, or open its own page for sunrise, sunset, time difference, daylight saving dates and more.

Display options

  • 12h / 24h switches the clock format.
  • Theme switches between light and dark.
  • Fullscreen shows a large clock, great for presentations, classrooms and exams.

Share a city

Every city has its own address, for example clocknow.live/time/tokyo/. Copy it from your browser to share it.

Tools

Tips

  • Alarms and timers need the browser tab to stay open. Some phones pause sounds when the screen locks.
  • Your saved cities and settings are stored only in your browser. Clearing site data resets them.
